Survivor, Conscience Committee member and Memorial Trustee Melanie Hall joined Mayor David Holt and Executive Director Kari Watkins as they toured Beto O’Rourke through the Memorial Museum today. “We’re very inspired by the way this community came together, and has been defined not by the act of terror but by the strength and the compassion of the caregivers, the first responders, law enforcement who did such a heroic and courageous job on that day and every day going forward. It was a lot for us to take in and learn, and reflect back to the rest of country. I’m very grateful that I came to Oklahoma City. Very proud of what this community has done. It’s an inspiration to the rest of the country,” said O’Rourke.

“The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a non-partisan organization and welcomes anyone who wants to pay their respects and remember those impacted in the worst domestic terrorist attack on American soil. We welcome any of the candidates who want to come and learn this story and work with us to put an end to senseless violence,” Kari Watkins, Executive Director.
