Bill Citty was the Oklahoma City Police Department Public Information Officer in 1995. When he arrived at the bomb site, he assisted with setting up the Command Post and then began handling media requests. He worked as a liaison with the FBI and their media representative to establish a schedule for press conferences and briefings.

Today, he retires as Chief of the Oklahoma City Police Department. He has been a board member and friend to the Memorial for years.

Congratulations Chief Citty, thank you for all you’ve done for #OKC!
