Delegates of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum opened the Nasdaq market this morning by ringing the Opening Bell in recognition of the upcoming 20th Anniversary of the Oklahoma City attack. The lessons learned that day – and in the months and years thereafter – have changed the way America responds to violence and terrorism.
In honor of the occasion, Susan Winchester, Chairman of the Trustees of the Memorial, rang the Opening Bell, accompanied by Kari Watkins, Executive Director, Trustees Mike Turpen, Traci Cook, Kim Neese, Justice Steven Taylor, Oklahoma City Police Chief and 20th Anniversary Co-Chair Bill Citty, Deputy Fire Chief Kellie Sawyers and Polly Nichols, 20th Anniversary Co-Chair.
