Donald Lee Fritzler, 64, and his wife, Mary Anne Fritzler, 57, of Oklahoma City, had celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary the day before the federal building explosion. The Fritzlers were married on April 18, 1959. Don was especially known for his work designing churches. He attended high school in Hooker and graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where he received a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He served as a principal in architectural firms, including Fritzler & Associates, which he had headed since 1980. Mary Anne had taught high school in the Oklahoma City and Midwest City-Del City school districts for 14 years. She attended Southeast High School in Oklahoma City and OU, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business education. In 1982, Mary Anne joined her husband at Fritzler & Associates, where the two worked side by side.
