The recipients of the Reflections of Hope Award and inaugural Oklahoma Standard Award as well as the luncheon date have been announced. We hope you’ll join us Monday, November 14th from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel.

• PeacePlayers International is this year’s Reflections of Hope Award honoree. Based on the premise that children who play together can learn to live together, PeacePlayers implements consistent, year-round sports activities that bring together children from opposite sides of religious, ethnic and cultural divides to develop friendship and mutual respect. Their story is remarkable and is a lesson that can be used around the world.
• Trumpeter Katie Prior, a 16 year Oklahoman old who founded the Youth Trumpet & Tap Corps, a service organization for high school trumpet players who sound Taps at military funerals will receive the inaugural Oklahoma Standard Award.
